We’re Screwed.

Our generation is messed up.
When I was being brought up I learnt to respect people, be polite, have general good manners, dress decently, don’t smoke, don’t drink etc etc…
Nowadays, walking around town you see 13 year olds wearing crop tops and mini skirts, holding their 14 year old boyfriends hand while his other holds a cigarette. Then you hear them chatting about how much fun they had getting white girl wasted on the weekend off of one whole WKD!!

Job Hunt!

First of all, I’d like to say thank you to everyone for such positive feedback on last weeks blog post! It was something that I felt really needed to be addressed and I am really glad that so many people were able to relate to what I was saying!

As you can tell by the title, I’m going to be writing about job hunting. Mainly because at the moment I am looking at getting my first paid part time job!
As you are growing up, the first time you speak, walk and go to school are a few of the big things milestones in life. Then as you grow up you are able to experience more exciting things and develop as an individual.

Don’t Take Things For Granted

There are so many things that people take for granted on a daily basis, like in England we have the right of free speech, religion and education whereas in other countries you’d have no such liberties.
Recently I think I’ve just been appreciating what I have rather than complaining about what I don’t have. It’s so strange how quickly something important to you can disappear. Or how someone who has affected your life in a positive or even negative way can just leave and you can’t do anything about it.

Most teenagers above the age of 15 have had the “joy” mocks this week, or are doing them next week.
Sadly, I am one of them. I am currently preparing myself for 5 exams next week, and I’m not going to lie, I’m quite worried.    All of my teachers at school are pushing everyone to revise every day for hours upon end and push the sheer importance of these exams a lot. Constantly saying that these exams will reflect how you’re going to perform at the end of the year and that if you don’t do well now, you won’t do well later on. -adding to stress levels ever so slightly.
