There are so many things that people take for granted on a daily basis, like in England we have the right of free speech, religion and education whereas in other countries you’d have no such liberties.
Recently I think I’ve just been appreciating what I have rather than complaining about what I don’t have. It’s so strange how quickly something important to you can disappear. Or how someone who has affected your life in a positive or even negative way can just leave and you can’t do anything about it.
We expect so much for doing so little. I guess nowadays, people just get so used to all these materialistic items that we begin to take them for granted meaning that we don’t fully appreciate them.
It’s awful right?
Next time you are about to complain about something fairly mundane, remember that so many people in the world would probably love to have the opportunity to do what you’re doing! Especially the normal day to day tasks like waking up and getting out of a bed, going downstairs and eating, having your daily hot shower, then going and living out your day whether that be at school, university or work.
#FirstWorldProblems shouldn’t be a thing.
