Catch Up

Hey guys!

Before I start, I would like to say sorry for the extreme lack of content on here recently, I thought I would have been able to manage my time a bit more effectively than I have over the past few weeks and haven’t really had the chance to sit down and write.
I’ve done some interesting things these past few weeks though, such as counting the votes for the General Election which was a brilliant experience but I don’t know if I’d ever do it again if I have school/work the next day… We stayed up until 3:30am counting!

Most teenagers above the age of 15 have had the “joy” mocks this week, or are doing them next week.
Sadly, I am one of them. I am currently preparing myself for 5 exams next week, and I’m not going to lie, I’m quite worried.    All of my teachers at school are pushing everyone to revise every day for hours upon end and push the sheer importance of these exams a lot. Constantly saying that these exams will reflect how you’re going to perform at the end of the year and that if you don’t do well now, you won’t do well later on. -adding to stress levels ever so slightly.

Listening to Nigel Farage

There are a few things I learnt about politics, politicians, and my generation today.  I learnt that politicians often pronounce the word issue, “iss-you.” I learnt that politicians are not afraid to openly discuss controversial issues when at the risk of being heckled by 3,000 politics students. And I learnt that my generation is full of people who have set, distinctive views that they are also, not afraid to share.
